 Day 1 – Fes to Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Your journey begins with an early departure from Fes, heading south towards the Middle Atlas Mountains. As you leave the city behind, you’ll pass through lush forests, cedar groves, and charming Berber villages. A stop in Midelt, known as the “Apple City,” offers a chance to stretch your legs and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Continuing south, the landscape changes dramatically as you enter the Ziz Valley, where palm groves and dramatic gorges create a breathtaking backdrop. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here, you’ll switch to camels for a serene trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

As the sun sets over the desert, you’ll reach your luxury desert camp, where a warm welcome, traditional Moroccan dinner, and Berber music under the stars await.

Day 2: Merzouga → Rissani → Draa Valley → Marrakech

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. You can choose another camel ride or a short 4×4 drive before returning to the camp for breakfast. After packing up, you’ll visit Rissani, a historic town known for its lively traditional market and as the birthplace of Morocco’s Alaouite dynasty.

From here, you’ll begin the long but scenic drive back to Marrakech, passing once more through the Draa Valley and High Atlas Mountains. You’ll arrive in Marrakech by evening (around 7–8 PM), filled with unforgettable memories of the desert.
